The seasonal worker will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks for the public works department. The employee will work up to approximately 40 hours per week for a maximum of 115 days.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Work on a packer truck for yard debris pickup Clean trucks Assist work crews with street repairs and routine maintenance Conduct outdoor physical labor
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work mostly in outside weather conditions. The employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fluctuations in temperature and occasionally chemicals.Physical Labor: The employee will be subject to prolonged physical activity including walking, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 40 pounds.
