Starting Salary: $15.00–$16.41 (depending on experience)

About this Position
The 3rd Assistant Golf Professional helps with the day-to-day operation of KickingBird Golf. They are responsible for managing the volunteer marshal and starters; assisting with managing the Pro Shop employees; and helping with golf associations and outside events. The schedule for this position varies, as the incumbent must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, including selling Pro Shop merchandise
- Ring up green fees
- Rent golf carts
- Take tee times and sell range tokens
- Assist with managing volunteer marshal and starters
- Help to organize and run all outside golf tournaments and the following events:
- Golf Association events
- Family Fun Nights
- Ladies Night Scrambles
- Assist in all areas of Pro Shop inventory control
- Maintain all handicaps through the USGA Ghin System
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year of related experience and/or training in golf course operations
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registered PGA Apprentice in good standing (preferred)
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier

- Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
- Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
