Description
Join our dynamic team of IT professionals and make a lasting impact on our city! We are working on over 100 various projects, some of which include creating an art walk portal, geotagging hiking trail locations and features, and identifying amenities available at each of our parks. Additionally, we support over 200 software applications; the selected individual will develop a high-level understanding of our software applications by supporting the Business Systems Division through implementation and maintenance, providing direct support to our software users, troubleshooting service issues, and delivering excellent customer service. The City of Fairfield’s IT Department is a busy, professional, and innovative place to work for an individual who wants to apply their skills and gain more knowledge using some of the most popular enterprise software.
Minimum Qualifications
Information Technology Assistant I
- One (1) year experience performing complex and specialized customer support tasks, using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet browsers is required.
- Education equivalent to graduation from high school is required. Technical, college or business school course work in computer science, business applications, telecommunications, or a closely related field, is highly desirable.
- Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License is required.
