JOB DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Works under the supervision of the Tennis Supervisor - Sports Complex and the Recreation Sports Supervisor.
Responsible for answering telephones, securing reservations, and collecting fees at the tennis pro shop.
Responsible for following and enforcing reservation policy and fee collection set up by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Assists in the planning and facilitating of tennis programming for both youth and adults.
Responsible for cleaning pro shop including windows, floors, counters and office area, and restrooms.
Responsible for selling tennis supplies and equipment.
May be required to squeegee the tennis courts after a heavy rain to make courts playable and perform other court maintenance as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position is subject to the City of Farmington's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy.
Experience working with the public.
Knowledge of the game and rules of tennis.
Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED, preferred.
Good public relations skills necessary.
Ability to work harmoniously with supervisors, associates, and the general public.
Ability to operate a cash register.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Telephone, mobile or portable radio, cash register, calculator, various tennis equipment.
