The Grants and Data Coordinator is a civilian, non-sworn position reporting directly to the Technical Services Captain and is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing grant funding opportunities to support the public safety needs of the City of Fitchburg Police Department. This role focuses on grant writing and securing funds from agencies such as the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), COPS Office, Office of Grants & Research, 911 Department, and other relevant agencies. The Grant Manager/Administrator is responsible for pre-award and post-award grant coordination, including programmatic and fiscal reporting, compliance monitoring, and other grant-related administrative duties.
