Job Summary
Work with the public providing unsurpassed customer service to maximize patron satisfaction and amplify sales/revenue opportunities.
Essential Duties
Work is performed in a multi-use theatre and conference facility.
Work must be performed efficiently and quickly, sometimes under pressure, in an ever-changing work environment.
Physical Demands
Duties involve medium level physical demands, which include standing, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, as well as lifting and carrying supplies as needed (maximum 50 lbs.). Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and other office equipment associated with ticket sales. Visual and hearing acuity sufficient to assist patrons as needed.
Equipment Utilized
This position utilizes a computer with keyboard, monitor, credit card swipe, mouse, ticket printers, fax machine, copier/scanner, and telephones with multiple incoming lines.

Job Summary
Work with the public providing unsurpassed customer service to maximize patron satisfaction and amplify sales/revenue opportunities.
Essential Duties
- Interact positively, work cooperatively, and communicate effectively with patrons, clients and staff to deliver the highest level of customer service
- Administer customer service functions in a timely, courteous, and professional manner including, but not limited to, processing cash, check, credit card, and gift card transactions; refund transactions; ticket transfers; compensation vouchers; seating change requests; facilitating group sales; issuing complimentary tickets; and processing ticket renewals
- Learn and memorize computerized ticketing functions, seating charts and Box Office procedures
- Maintain accurate cash bag and cash drawer balances and run reconciliation reports
- Perform ticketing procedures using customized software, at the counter, over the phone and online; and troubleshoot ticketing equipment issues
- Answer questions ranging from events and seating to livestreaming and general show information
- Meet individual event demands by facilitating merchandise sales when needed
- Learn the organizational structure of the Lincoln Center and various personnel of presenting organizations
- Perform other duties as needed, including filing will call, alphabetizing, stuffing envelopes, labeling, and occasional office maintenance
- Arrive on time as scheduled and being dressed appropriately
- Demonstrated cultural competence to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of diverse identities, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong learning orientation. Leverages all resources and is creative in ways of learning for self to continue adapting to changing issues and trends.

- Minimum of 1 year of recent customer service experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer proficiency and the ability to effectively learn and utilize related software and hardware
- Excellent customer service skills with strong ability to communicate and diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact
- Ability to read, write and alphabetize
- Knowledge of math, accounting functions and cash management procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and patrons
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Must be proactive, able to prioritize, and adapt in a diverse, ever-changing and bustling environment
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and in an organized manner to complete projects
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and possibly some holidays
