Are you ready to make a difference this summer? The Parks, Recreation, and Events department is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the position of Recreation Leader 2. If you love working with people of all ages and enjoy outdoor activities, this is the job for you!
What You'll Do:
- Lead and inspire participants in a variety of fun and engaging activities.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all program participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents during daily drop-off and pick-up.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone involved.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members and attend required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain a positive attitude, fostering teamwork and support among co-workers.
- Report any issues to the Summer Site Coordinator in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing activities and keeping facilities clean and organized.
- Follow and enforce safety policies to ensure everyone’s well-being.
- Help with participant check-in and check-out processes.
- Take on other exciting responsibilities as assigned!

What You Need:
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained after hiring).
- A passion for working with diverse community members.
- Outgoing, compassionate, and a natural role-model.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
