SALARY : $7,595-$9,170 / monthFILING DEADLINE : Open Until FilledPOSITION DESCRIPTIONCome and join the City of Fresno in achieving our mission of Building a Better Fresno!Under general supervision, the Senior Radio Frequency Network Engineer installs, configures, monitors, and maintains the City's RF (radio frequency) / LMR (land mobile radio) systems, video surveillance cameras and associated systems, dispatch systems, and related data networking systems. Assists in ensuring the highest level of uptime, secure functionality, and efficiency of these systems.Incumbents monitor and perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of RF, LMR, and video surveillance systems; conduct analyses of overall network performance; identify and resolve more complex communications system and networking issues; provide lead direction and training to assigned staff; and perform complex work as required.The incumbent will be assigned to work on-call, weekends, or holidays for after-hours support on a scheduled basis.Immediate and future vacancies will be filled from this eligible list for a period of three (3) months from the date the eligible list is created, with the option of extending that period at the City's discretion.
