POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager is responsible for administration, staff supervision, facility operation, and personal employee duties.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Education, and Training
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred, but will train.
Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing and submit to periodic drug testing as applicable laws require.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, prefer 21 years of age, and be willing and able to attend any training sessions.
- Must pass the swim test, lifeguard course, and Pre-season training.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours during the afternoon and evenings Monday through Sunday starting May 24th and ending August 10th.
- Must be available to attend pre-season training.
- Must have no felony convictions.

FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
- Assist with scheduling of staff.
- Enforce staff rules and regulations.
- Assist staff in enforcing pool rules and regulations
- Ensure daily maintenance of facility, locker rooms, office, and concession stand are performed.
- Ensure pool chemicals are tested before opening and every two hours after.
- Assist in handling emergencies, complaints, etc.

- Above average accessibility of all work sites required for the position.
- Above average exposure to weather and temperature extremes.
- Above average exposure to dust and loud noises.
Physical
- Prolonged periods working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Employment is seasonal and requires irregular hours and some holidays.
