The City of Globe is accepting applications for a RECREATION AND SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER. This position holds multiple responsibilities including year-round management of special events, year-round management of pool facilities, seasonal management of pool operations and recreational programming development as needed.
Responsibility for the overall operation of the Globe Community Center Pool, to include hiring and training of lifeguards, prioritizing, and assigning work, delegating responsibilities to Lead Lifeguards, creating an environment of quality customer service, ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; and ensuring the safety of all who use the facility.
Special event management responsibilities include planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating the activities, budget, facilities and equipment, staff, contractors, and volunteers for the City of Globe's special events, as assigned; and assisting in the annual department budget process.
