Position Overview
This position will work under the direct supervision of the Golf Course Assistant Superintendent and assist in maintaining the grounds and equipment, repairing and maintaining the irrigation system, and applying fertilizers and pesticides as directed.

Exposure to hazardous conditions, including operating power tools and equipment, and toxic materials, including raw sewage, garbage, landscaping chemicals, and hot asphalt. Employee is subject to noise while operating equipment and general noises in outdoor city environments.

- Maintain the physical attributes of the golf course which includes mowing, tree trimming, and flower and shrub maintenance.
- Mix and applies pesticides and fertilizers upon recognition of turf disease symptoms.
- Repair and/or adjusts course irrigation system.
- Train seasonal maintenance workers in their duties.
- Work varying weekend hours throughout the golfing season ensuring continual course maintenance
- and providing supervision of maintenance staff.
- Assist with equipment repair and snow removal during the off-season.
