This is customer service work which is responsible for receiving and responding to customer service needs related to the Mobile GR Department. Work requires the handling of non-emergency, communications and administrative services related to the operations of Mobile GR by phone and dispatch radio. Employees serving in this position are responding to a variety of citizen service needs and requests. Work is performed in accordance with prescribed procedures and departmental regulations; however, some judgment is required. Work is performed under supervision with employee exercising judgement and independence in the prioritizing of tasks and the carrying out of work processes and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receives, evaluates, and processes incoming calls via phone and dispatch radio for assistance by the public; determines the appropriate course to address issues, problems, or requests for service from customers.
- Serves as an information resource, provides parking information in the resolution of complaints or requests for information from Customers.
- Provides follow up communication with department divisions as necessary to ensure citizens information or service needs are met.
- Utilize multiple software and applications to handle customer request or concerns; enters system notes. Monitors additional systems, as needed.
- Monitors parking facility cameras for issues or prohibited activity on city property, dispatch Mobile GR staff as necessary; create and file subsequent incident reports.
- Dispatches Mobile GR staff to assist customers, as needed.
- Performs related work as required.
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of customer service experience.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
This position requires regular weekend shifts and does not follow traditional 8 AM - 5 PM hours.
