About the Role
As the Administrative Fiscal Manager, you will assist in management, supervision, and contribute as a working member of the Administration Division in the areas of finance, facility maintenance, departmental budget preparation, business processes and departmental efficiency. Participate in the development, submittal, and maintenance of GM911 complex $24.1 million annual budget. Research, prepare and collect information for the departmental work plan, performance measures for City’s MAP Program, NC State 911 Board annual audit, complex departmental studies, financial reports, budget reports, School of Government benchmarking studies, and other reporting required by the CMO, Finance, Budget and Evaluation, Central Contracting Division, and the Guilford Metro 911 director. Work with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Budget/Evaluation Departments regarding contracts, fund sufficiency issues, budget adjustments, account setup, and other issues as they arise. Track and provide revenue and expenditure projections to determine how well the department is meeting established goals, and assist with strategic planning. Responsible for participating in and supervising or directing support staff. Ensures legal compliance with local, state, and City regulations. Oversee and process extensive record keeping and data management with assurance of confidentiality of information.

Qualifications
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 to 6 years of experience in financial processes, records management, office management, and/or contracts.
- “OR” Associate’s Degree with 6 to 8 years of experience in financial processes, records management, office management, and/or contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Licensed Notary Public “OR” ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using GHR/Infor Software HRIS/Finance.
- Experience using Kronos TeleStaff.
- Experience using Questica Budgeting Software.
- Supervisory experience.
