The Full Salary Range for this position is $ 48,168.00 - $86,195.00 Annually. The Expected Hiring Range is $48,168-$63,379 Annually depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefits package. Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The Solid Waste and Recycling Route Supervisor oversees and directs skilled crews in large-scale Solid Waste operations, ensuring efficient Solid Waste Collection Services. This role requires strong leadership, independent decision-making, and frequent interaction with the public.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the solid waste collections industry, or at least 8 years of experience without a high school diploma or GED.- Licensing: Possession of a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Equipment Experience: Proficiency in operating solid waste collection equipment, including Rear Loaders and Automated systems.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role.
