Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, with some nights and weekends, 10 hours per week

- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The GYC Office Manager will hold the office of GYC Chairman for a one-year term. The individual in this role will lead the Executive Board and members in fulfilling the mission of the Greensboro Youth Council as well as be responsible for the upkeep of the GYC Office.
Duties of the GYC Chairman would include but are not limited to: serving as the organization spokesperson participating in interviews and community events, plan and lead monthly meetings, attend a minimum of 80% of GYC projects and trainings, ensure yearly goals are being met.
Duties of the Office Manager would include but are not limited to: checking voicemails, ensuring the volunteers are productive and provide them with tasks, maintaining a neat office and workspace, update social media to promote GYC events, and monthly inventory of office supplies.
This position reports to the GYC Coordinator and is a great service-learning project for someone looking to develop leadership skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
This position is Non-Exempt under FLSA.
