What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Security and Infrastructure Administrator - 3212 - 9 position at City of Grove City?
Appointed by the Mayor in consultation with the Administrative Assistant, the Information Systems Security & Infrastructure Administrator reports to the Information Systems Deputy Director and supports the City's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role is responsible for network infrastructure, computer planning, administration, and operations activities, as well as maintaining the security and operational integrity of the City's cybersecurity defenses through creating and maintaining security controls, threat detection and response, vulnerability and patch management, and security awareness training.
The Information Systems Security & Infrastructure Administrator shall be chosen solely on the basis of their executive and administrative qualifications in the profession of information technology, as shown by the adequacy of their technical training and successful experience in information technology.

Minimum Requirements:
- Has proven ability in oral and written communications.
- Has the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with public officials, civic leaders and the public in general.
- Has a Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering discipline with a major area of work in information systems, cyber security, data systems management, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in planning, implementation, and maintenance of information systems preferred.
- Sufficient knowledge of the professional field to carry out a full range of varied responsibilities and discharge the accountability required of the Information Systems Security & Infrastructure Administrator.
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain insurability under the City's vehicle insurance policy.

The Information Systems Security & Infrastructure Administrator shall have the following powers and duties under the immediate supervision of the Information Systems Deputy Director:
- Risk management and remediation.
- Security program support.
- Vulnerability management.
- Network infrastructure support and deployment.
- Server infrastructure support.
- Workstation image support and management.
- Systems monitoring and management.
- Active Directory security.
- Firewall support.
- Segmentation development and refinement.
- Obey and promptly execute all orders of the Administrative Assistant.
- Other duties as assigned.
