Manages capital improvement projects in the Public Works Department from the planning to closeout to ensure compliance with all City standards and regulations. Work is performed under direction with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Seeks technical guidance on unusual or complex problems or issues.

Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE) certifications are preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
