Assistant Building Inspector
The City of Hannibal has a position vacancy for an Assistant Building Inspector. This position is under the direction of the Building Inspector and is responsible for performance of administrative duties, both assigned and self-initiated, routine and complex technical work in building section ensuring compliance with the International Building Codes and other related codes and standards.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with primary work hours of 10-hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday.

A valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED is required, preferred four years' experience in general construction and/or related field, ability to read and interpret building construction plans & specifications, one or more ICC Certifications desired and must have the willingness to use computer equipment and building code/permitting software programs.
