The Swimming Pool Cashier is a seasonal position with no benefits and a preferred hiring rate of $15.96 per hour. These seasonal positions are expected to last from approximately May 2025 through early September 2025. As a Swimming Pool Cashier, you'll:
- Conduct the daily operation of the Westover Pool's office;
- Supervise the safe use of the bathhouse building;
- Ensure the general safety, health, discipline, and enjoyment of the patrons;
- Work with a computer-based point-of-sale program;
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Physical Requirements: This is light work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operation of machines, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of the tenth grade, at least 16 years of age, and minimal experience in a customer service position required. High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications required within the first three months of employment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed, is preferred. This position will require an average of 15-35 hours per week, based on candidate availability.
The selected candidate for this position will be subject to the following screenings and must receive satisfactory results:
- Drug screening; and
- Criminal background check.
