What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Technician position at City of Hayden - Hayden?
This position reports to the Finance Director and serves the city’s sewer utility customers by receiving payments, researching information and responding to customer questions and complaints as well as providing support to the utility billing function. The position requires:
- Excellent customer service skills to handle all customers in a respectful and courteous manner.
- Proficiency with computers, office equipment and finance software.
- Organization and accuracy to process payments, record receipts and balance;
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of accounting and customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- This is a part time position that will be scheduled M-F from 8 am to 2:30 pm for 30 hours per week.
