YOUR PURPOSE
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Services Department as an Accounting Clerk 4. Under the guidance of the Treasury Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations, from processing payments to maintaining strong vendor relationships. You’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments, handling compliance matters, and contributing to financial reporting that supports the entire organization. •Process purchase order payments, invoices, and vouchers accurately and efficiently
•Prepare and disburse vendor payments, ensuring strict sales tax compliance
•Coordinate 1099 processing and resolve payment status issues with attention to detail
•Manage the weekly Accounts Payable check runs, ensuring timely execution
•Prepare and generate reports on reimbursed funds from vendors and assist auditors with requested information
•Monitor outstanding checks and manage escheat-related tasks to meet deadlines
•Assist with multi-state escheat reporting and document preparation
•Foster effective communication with vendors and internal departments on payment and billing issues
•Provide backup support for cash deposits and Accounts Receivable payments
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounts payable
•Strong knowledge of accounting practices and office procedures
•Excellent communication and clerical skills
•Ability to handle large volumes of data entry accurately and efficiently
•Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
•Valid Driver’s License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Some college-level accounting coursework from an accredited college/university
•Proficiency in English and Spanish
