The City of Hilliard, Ohio is seeking interest for the position of part time Court Liaison within the Division of Police. Regular work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00AM- 1:00PMWednesday: 7:00AM- 12:00PM
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Court Liaison coordinates cases between the various courts that Division of Police personnel work within and acts as Bailiff for the City of Hilliard Mayor’s Court. The Court Liaison performs security for court proceedings and provides transportation of prisoners as needed for court. Duties include working with defendants, attorneys, magistrates, and other court personnel to ensure the smooth flow of criminal cases through the criminal justice process. When not assisting with court related duties, the Court Liaison may be assigned to assist the HPD Property Custodian with the evidence inventory and the disposal of property.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Ability to move and lift items up to 50 lbs.Ability to drive a motor vehicleAbility to walk, have 20/20 vision with correction if necessary, hear, and use computer equipment as well as other typical office equipment
