About this Opportunity
Come serve as a Code and Policy Project Manager in the most diverse large city in Oregon, an economic engine of the state connected by light-rail to the Portland region. The Community Development Department’s Planning Division has multiple exciting planning projects and policy initiatives critical to the near- and long-term goals for the City of Hillsboro and the Portland, Oregon metro region. This job position is an opportunity to be the City’s champion of this work at the intersection of policy and development code, and oversee City Community Development Code amendment projects.

ngAs the City’s development code administrator, you will be responsible for managing amendments to the City's Community Development Code and leading complex multi-dimensional policy issues and translating them into implementable development code standards. In addition to managing projects, this position is to ensure meaningful community engagement, to help leadership make informed policy decision

Candidate
Profile The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning, public administration, public policy, community development, and a background in current planning, land use entitlements, development code administration, and project ma
