This position is customer service driven in all areas of the CORE to include fitness and sports.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Keeps all areas and equipment clean.Moves small fitness and sports equipment when necessary.Directs customers or members to different departments when necessary.Performs small tasks.Enforces all policies and procedures.Directs all guests to welcome desk when needed. Assists personal trainers, fitness instructors, CORE Kids and Sports Specialists with equipment related requests.Monitors group fitness classes and assists the instructor teaching with any fitness related questions. Attends staff meetings & trainings as scheduled.Communicates effectively with supervisors for any concerns.Assists the Coordinators with any related tasks.Adheres to assigned work.Implements the CORE mission and philosophy. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate controls and reach with upper and lower body and hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The employee may be required to walk or stand up to a four (4) hour period of time.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office and moderately loud when in other parts of the facility.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals.
