This position is responsible for the Welcome Desk operations of the C.O.R.E. (Center of Recreational Excellence) and is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Provides efficient and courteous customer service to all individuals who enter the facility; processes or refers questions, concerns and needs as necessary. Adheres to and implements the CORE mission and philosophy. Responsible for giving tours of the facility. Assists customers with all transactions including memberships, sale of merchandise, and facility rentals. Responsible for opening and end of shift duties as well as all cash handling as it relates to all front desk operations in the CORE. Ensures members receive accurate and current information of policies and procedures. Answers phone and relays information appropriately. Knowledge of upcoming classes and special CORE events. Adheres to assigned work schedule. Implements the CORE mission and philosophy. Immediately reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors or abuse.May serve on various employee committees, as required and assigned.The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate controls and reach with upper and lower body and hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may be required to stand up to a six (6) hour period of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office and moderately loud when in other parts of the facility. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals.
