Job Title: Program Development Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Recreation Department team as a Program Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new youth recreation programs, including sports leagues, holiday programs, arts and crafts, and educational workshops
- Research and evaluate best practices in youth recreation programming, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality programs that meet community needs
- Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support program growth and special events
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or related field
- 5 years of experience in recreation program management, preferably in a municipal setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, parents, and community members
