About the Job
We are seeking a talented Municipal Engineer to join our Public Works team. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise engineers and technicians involved in project development and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ordinances related to public utilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to secure funding and resources.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for various stakeholders.
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Seven years of progressively responsible engineering experience in a municipal setting.
- Master's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
- Professional Engineer registration in Minnesota and valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions
This is an exempt position that requires flexible hours and occasional on-site inspections.
