Directing contractual employees to deliver application services to satisfy City/County agency and department requirements.
Ensures adherence to Enterprise Architecture and Security Standards Compliance.
Ensures application architecture and design is appropriate for both new systems and existing systems.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation as well as independent judgment. Must have an outgoing, customer service attitude. Must have strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Must have experience successfully managing application portfolios and application life-cycles. Experience successfully acting as an application product owner is strongly preferred.
Public sector or comparable experience strongly preferred. Must be familiar with fundamental business concepts. Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations is required. Knowledge of and experience with standard office practices required.
Ideal candidates will be those that have performed jobs in line with Business Analysts, System Administrators, Technical Consultants, and Product Owners.Position requires the ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs, risks and benefits of potential actions. Independent judgment is utilized and may represent the Application Services Manager at planning, management and/or customer meetings.
