The PositionThe Fellowship position is designed to provide pre- and post-graduate college students with work experience as they prepare for future careers in urban planning or a related field. Some of the duties include: Provide public information and assistance.Gather, tabulate and analyze data on a variety of administrative and policy matters.Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, fiscal and organizational matters.Review project plans, develop recommendations and prepare letters and reports.Assist with draft policies and procedures.Review project plans, develop recommendations and prepare letters and reports.Perform clerical duties and occasional field inspections as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Qualified applicants will have completed at least one year of college with some course work in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, or a related field. Applicants must possess a valid Class C California drivers' license and a good driving record.
