What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Leader position at City of Irving Texas?

Duties, dependent upon assignment, may include leading and participating in the layout, installation and maintenance of traffic markings or traffic control devices; operating a variety of equipment in both markings and sign installations; handling vehicle maintenance and preparation of tools, materials and equipment; creating work orders and updating the City of Irving web map; and implementing and overseeing work zone safety methods. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years directly related experience are required. Must be familiar with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) and have, or be able to obtain, an appropriate Texas driver’s license. Normal hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, but schedule will include required participation in an on-call rotation. Evening, weekend and holiday hours are sometimes required.
PAY GRADE GG18 / FULL PAY RANGE $26.33 - $37.11 PER HOUR
