What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) position at City of Irving?
Duties include answering the telephone and greeting visitors; assisting with cash reporting; typing memos, reports and letters; data entry; filing and copying; and other general clerical duties. Duties also include assisting with recreation programs and advisory council processes (such as elections and vote tallying) and other special projects. A high school diploma and two years of general clerical and customer service experience are required. Prior experience with ActiveNet or other registration software; and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access preferred. Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills beneficial. The hours are Monday through Friday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Some morning/afternoon hours may be required to assist with events or coverage. Applicants must submit résumé with application.
