Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at our local community pool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching swimming and promoting water safety among individuals of all ages. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring that each participant develops their swimming skills effectively.
Duties
- Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Teach essential swimming techniques and water safety.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the pool area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or in a related role is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with children in childcare settings is a plus.
- A strong understanding of swimming techniques and water safety practices is essential.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguarding is highly desirable.
