What qualifications are necessary for the role?
To perform the essential duties of the position, the minimum education and prior experience required includes:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of general clerical experience and data entry/database support experience is required.
- Access to personal or public transportation for job-related duties is required.
- Must pass thorough background investigation that includes no felony convictions.
- Prior experience in a law enforcement agency is desired, but not required.

This position does follow a rotating schedule of 5 days on – 2 days off, 5 days on – 3 days off and the hours are 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. This schedule will work holidays and weekends.
What is the pay?
The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.88 ($48,370 annually); this is a non-exempt position. This position is also eligible for annual economic adjustments and performance-based adjustments, as approved by the City Council.

For new hires before the 15th of the month, medical, dental, and vision insurance become effective on the date of hire. For those hired on or after the 15th of the month, these benefits kick in on the 1st of the following month.
