What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parking Maintenance Worker position at City of Jefferson?
The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for a Seasonal Parking Maintenance worker in our Parking division in our Public Works department. This position will perform seasonal maintenance duties during the months of November - February. Performs routine interior and exterior maintenance on parking garages and city owned lots.
Performs duties such as cleaning, picking up litter and debris, emptying trash, graffiti removal in parking lots and parking garages.
May also clear walkways, rake leaves, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
Work sometimes performed in right-of-way areas.
Performs a variety of minor routine building maintenance tasks such as paining and carpentry; identifies and reports building maintenance needs.
Adheres to safety practices and standards when performing all duties.
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
Demonstrates regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.Must be 16 years of age, 18 years of age preferred, and have a valid Missouri driver's license.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to traverse rough terrain and work outdoors.This position generally works daytime hours, Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend hours for special projects. This position will perform seasonal maintenance duties during the months of November - February with an anticipated 30-40hr work week.
Hourly salary varies on experience.
