Description
Under general supervision, performs tennis teaching duties at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center during junior and adult group lessons. Additionally, instructors may assist with tennis events and private lessons.
Essential Functions
Assist in the creation of lesson plans. Follow lessons plans and teach the skills of the sport in order to develop players to reach their potential. Set a vibrant and positive tone with participants during practices and games. Effectively communicate to players, fellow instructors, and program supervisors. Inspect facility conditions and ensure safety during the games. Assist with first aid as needed.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Adequate knowledge of the sport of tennis is required. Demonstrate the ability to be a positive role model and effectively lead and teach children and adults. Must be 18 years of age of older.
