Under general supervision, performs tennis teaching duties at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center during junior and adult group lessons. Additionally, instructors may assist with tennis events and private lessons.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist in the creation of lesson plans. Follow lessons plans and teach the skills of the sport in order to develop players to reach their potential. Set a vibrant and positive tone with participants during practices and games. Effectively communicate to players, fellow instructors, and program supervisors. Inspect facility conditions and ensure safety during the games.
