Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate people to join our team. We train our employees on teaching independence for our disabled customers in their home setting and at the workshop. This is a full-time position 40 hour position with the schedule listed below:
Friday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Saturday: 6:00am - 10:00pm
Sunday: 6:00am - 10:00pm
Monday: 6:00am - 8:00am

Essential Functions:
- To assist / teach disabled customers how to be independent in their home with cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping.
- To assist / teach disabled customers how to be independent assembling contract parts for job requirements.
- Ensure customers are protected from abuse, neglect, denial of essential services and exploitation to the Area Manager/Area Director.
- Recognize and report the need to make changes in customer service plan.
- Run and document programs on Therap.
- Administer and document medications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with disabled adults is helpful, but not required. We will train the right candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
- Familiarity with working with disabled adults in a respectful and professional manner.
- Must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license and meet Agency driving record criteria.
- Must be 18 years of age to be certified as a Medication Aide.
- Must pass criminal background and APS/CPS background checks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
