Position Function - Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, responsible for supporting and enforcing the rules, regulations, and safety of the entire facility as well as adhering to policies and procedures. Serve as a manager on duty various days and evenings throughout the week and on weekends. | ||||||||

Provide positive and enthusiastic customer service to all members and guests by greeting members, guests, and attendees upon their arrival and departure. Assist members and guests with program registrations and facility bookings through service desk software. Actively promote and market all facilities, programs, services and memberships to members and guests. Conduct facility walk through, count down cash drawers, open and close the building. | 45% | |||||||
Ensure all transactions and member paperwork is completed accurately and completely, and the data is entered correctly into the service desk software. Ensure the residency and/or membership status of all visiting members is verified. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of fitness floor, front desk and main entryway. | 25% | |||||||
Attend all scheduled employee meetings. Assist members with equipment and television issues as well as keeping the coffee bar stocked. Provide tours for prospective new members and be able to answer any questions regarding membership. | 15% | |||||||

Duties are generally performed in an office and indoor/outdoor pool environment. Possible exposure to dust, mold, pool chemicals, humidity and wet environments, and electricity. Duties may also require prolonged periods of standing, walking and reaching with hands and arms. | ||||||||
Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | ||||||||
High school Diploma or equivalent certification. Minimum 1-year customer service experience required, supervisory experience preferred but not required. | ||||||||
Must be 18 years of age. | ||||||||
Current lnfant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid with AED certification from Jeff Ellis & Associates, American Red Cross, or American Heart Association required or ability to obtain upon employment offer. | ||||||||
Basic computer and phone skills, ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions, independent problem solving, and ability to connect with a variety of people. | ||||||||
Strong communication skills, including the ability to gather and deliver information in a professional, positive manner. | ||||||||
