About the Position
This is a temporary entry-level position, working under the general supervision of the Assistant Parks & Recreation Director during the Kenai River Personal Use Fishery.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet participants and accept funds in the form of credit or debit cards for services purchased.
- Assist participants and answer questions from the public related to the use of available City services and facilities.
- Monitor assigned area and ensure operation of all vehicles and activities are in compliance with rules for the area.
The cashier performs a range of duties to assist the public in support of the Fishery, including but not limited to the City Dock, parking and camping areas, and Kenai River north and south shore beach access areas.
