Under general supervision, performs assigned work in coordinating and participating in the provision of effective and efficient support for assigned City programs. . Reports to the assigned supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
Plans, organizes, schedules, implements and supervises assigned programs and activities.
Ensures departmental compliance with established guidelines and all applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures required for compliance with HUD and State governing regulations including CDBG, HOME, and others as may be assigned; initiates any actions required and necessary to correct deviations.
Assists in the creation of program applications, forms, monthly reporting formats, and other vital tools needed to monitor program delivery and the successful attainment of all goals.
Performs technical and administrative work in assisting in the planning and implementation of housing, social service programs and capital improvement project. Work involves working with the Director of the department and serving as liaison for the department with other non-profit, for-profit, and social service agencies. Reports to the Director.
Maintains knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations governing the procurement and delivery of goods and services and the eligible use of funds awarded in support of program and activities.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires an Associate’s degree in a related field and two years of verifiable experience in the administration of federally funded programs. Degree may be supplemented by three or more years of related experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver’s License.
