Job Description:
ASSISTANT PORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR for the City of Ketchikan Port & Harbors Department. Assists with overseeing and coordinating port operations and activities. Supports the maintenance and security of the City of Ketchikan port dock; assists in ensuring compliance with the Facility Security Plan; and provides information and assistance on Department functions and services to the maritime industry and the boating public. Two years of experience working in port and harbors or a related marine industry. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Facility Security Officer Training certificate within one year of hire date. Possession of or ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) Card. Regular, full-time; $27.53 - $37.07/hr DOQ plus benefits. Position is open until filled. EOE/AA
