RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead meetings with Section Directors regarding daily plans and schedule.
Plan, participate and assist with camp activities (including in the park, inside the Community Center, and at the pool).
Work with other Counselors to create a positive, fun, and safe environment for all campers.
Works closely, cooperatively and amicably with all staff members.
Follow all regulations and safety guidelines outlined at the start of camp.
Ensures camp is leaving and returning on-time for field trips.
Greet parents at check-in / out during the morning and afternoon. Answer any questions parents may have during this time.
Monitors and ensures appropriate participant behavior and adherence to camp rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Age 18 or older
- Experience working with school age children preferred
- CPR certification is required (will be offered at no cost if hired)
- Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours and carry at least 25 lbs.
- Willing to work in an indoor and outdoor setting in a variety of weather conditions.

Camp takes place primarily outdoors in Kirkwood Park, with occasional indoor activities.
