Under general supervision of the full time Aquatics Management team, "Splash!" La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center, the Lead Guest Services Associate will organize, supervise, oversee, and evaluate daily office operations and staff. The Lead Guest Services Associate will collect, and control revenue generated through facility operations, prepare budget and attendance reports and is responsible for training and supervising multiple Guest Services Associates.

Minimum Qualifications
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledge of : Basic arithmetic, office procedures, Microsoft Excel, Word, Cash handling and accounting procedures.
Ability to : Make computations rapidly and accurately. Operate a cash register quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Read, understand, and carry out written and oral directions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, community groups, staff, and other agencies. Exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact with staff and the public. Assign tasks when needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :
One year of cashier experience is required.
Graduation from high school or the equivalent is required. Customer service, supervision, computer and office skills are highly desired.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE :
Possession of a valid California Driver License is required.
Possession of a valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certificate is required within one month of employment.
Possession of a Food Handler's Certification is required within one month of employment. Certification will be provided by the City.
Supplemental Information
Splash! Aquatics Center is open year-round. Positions require availability to work varying shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates with open availability will be given preference when hiring.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER :
Candidates will be required to pass a City administered pre-employment requirements which include live scan fingerprinting and a medical examination as part of the Selection Process. Candidates who do not pass any portion of the above processes will be disqualified and removed from proceeding in the selection process.
