To provide routine to semi-skilled seasonal work in the Utilities Divisions.
Positions available are for a maximum of six-months, April – October assignments. Up to 40 hours a week.

- Utilities positions are available for assisting sewer cleaning, televising and locating operations.
- Vactor, jetter and sewer camera helpers – assist Utilities Maintenance workers with cleaning and televising storm and sanitary sewers.
- All positions will be expected to perform other various duties as assigned.
- Locate helper - assist Utilities Maintenance workers locate underground infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Some knowledge of the tools, methods and materials used in general maintenance.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Ability to operate a variety of motorized vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Physical strength sufficient to do strenuous laboring tasks under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to read maps and use locators to find and mark water and sewer lines.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess valid Minnesota driver's license and have a good driving record.
- Ability to operate or ability to be trained to operate various equipment as mentioned above.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Utilities Maintenance II from 7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
