General Summary : The Office Assistant for the HR Talent Team provides essential support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department's recruitment and talent initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting with daily clerical tasks, managing candidate correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the recruitment team with scheduling, data entry, and coordination efforts. Additionally, the Office Assistant will perform Live Scan fingerprinting for new hires as part of pre-employment background checks and must be comfortable working in close proximity to others during these interactions. Daily interactions with the public are a key part of this role, and the Office Assistant must professionally represent the City to foster a welcoming and positive experience for all. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, as the Office Assistant will play a key role in creating a positive experience for both candidates and team members.
