Non-Exempt – Overtime Eligible
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, open and close athletic facilities, set up equipment for athletics leagues, tournaments and programs, as well as working City special events. Well-rounded knowledge of sports rules such as softball, basketball, soccer, etc. Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position reports to the athletics coordinator.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with various organizations to ensure leagues, rentals, and tournaments are successful.
- Staff and set up for athletic games.
- Drag and chalk softball/baseball fields.
- Score keep athletic games.
- Be friendly, courteous, and helpful to all patrons.
- Circulating and be aware of any incidents, accidents, and injuries that may occur during a shift.
- Assist with department and Citywide special events.

Education and Experience:

- Currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in Recreation or a related field is desirable.
