Reads water meters at residential and business locations. Completes daily work orders for connections and disconnections. Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains water meters to ensure functionality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Conducts meter readings, manually and/or with an integrated register. Maintains water meter operations by diagnosing and repairing as needed.Fulfills work orders, including connections and disconnections of service. Required Licenses or CertificationsValid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
