Essential Functions
- Employee answers questions and furnishes information to the public and city employees concerning department policies, rules, and regulations; receives complaints and responds to complaints appropriately including taking initiative to see that problems in certain situations are resolved; makes appropriate referrals as necessary;
- Assists city officials, boards, commissions, and agencies providing them with reports and information as required.
- Schedules meetings, travel schedules, screens and takes messages for the Director and routes calls; returns calls received for the Director regarding routine information.
- Ensures the accuracy of department files and materials; maintains highly confidential department files for the Director.
- Performs various administrative duties related to public notices, including composing, posting, and advertising as requested.
