GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Manager on duty in the evenings at Jimmy Floyd Family Center. Also performs responsible semiskilled custodial and building maintenance/grounds work in the care and cleaning of the Jimmy Floyd Family Life Center; does related work as required. Maintenance and grounds work may be indoors or outdoors. Must be available on Sundays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as the manager on duty 5 days per week at Jimmy Floyd Family Center.
Must operate the facility point of sale program and manage the front desk staff while on shift at JFFC. Performs Z-out on facility POS stations each night.
Responsible for managing the Emergency Action Plan in case of any emergency on the grounds during his/her shift.
Manages the evening custodial employees to complete all needed cleaning in the building and on the grounds.
Mows the grass medians in the JFFC parking lot that are not mowed by the City.
Ensures cleanliness of the parking lot and grounds around the physical JFFC building.
Performs routine maintenance at facility. This may include but is not limited to replacing lights, air filters, using a one man lift to clean at elevation, making minor repairs to facility equipment, etc.
Ensures that the custodial supplies needed to maintain the facility are ordered and in stock.
Picks up trash from grounds. Cleans and supplies restrooms daily.
Maintains grounds, rakes leaves, trim bushes and shovels snow.
Moves furniture, office equipment and boxes.
Performs related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion high school diploma/GED/ETC.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of citizens or employees of the City of Lebanon.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
DRIVER LICENSE
Must have a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
