GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Reports to the Office Manager. Responsibilities include all assigned duties pertaining to the front desk and pool house areas. Any duties assigned by the manager on duty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the Office Manager.
Assists in the daily supervision of patrons within the Facility ensuring their safety by enforcing facility rules and regulations.
Ensures all patrons follow rules of the Jimmy Floyd Family Center.
Launders, stores, and stocks all cleaning supplies for front desk and pool house area.
Cleans and organizes all front desk and pool house area.
Cleans and maintains all non-fitness equipment in the front desk area (windows, mirrors, floors, etc)
Responsible for all member and non-member fitness orientations.
May include equipment maintenance, facility tours, cleaning, rule enforcement, or other duties directly assigned by supervisor.
Responds to citizen complaints or inquiries regarding facility operations and programs.
EDUCATIONS
A minimum of an 8th education is required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year experience in fitness related work is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT, REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required having full use of auditory and visual capacities, of which include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance for extended periods of time, and have full use of hands to fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Be able to continually lift 50lbs. or more.
Work environment will be in an indoor setting.
